How to get here: Situated on the corner of Exchequer Street and South Great Georges Street, the hotel is only minutes stroll from Trinity College or Grafton Street. From Dublin Airport, take the Blue Aircoach bus,(if more than 2 persons almost as cheap to take taxi as its €7 per pax and taxi about €25) outside arrivals to Trinity College (or any bus that goes to Trinity College or Dame Street). Once off the bus, walk up Dame Street, take a left onto South Great Georges Street. Keep walking until you reach the corner of Exchequer Street, the hotel is situated on your left. From the Airport by car: Take the M1 to Dublin city centre, continue straight onto O'Connell Street, over O'Connell bridge and follow the road round, with Trinity College on your left. Then veer right to go up Dame Street. Once on Dame Street, keep watch for a left turn onto South Great Georges Street. The hotel is at the next main left, onto Exchequer Street. Cheapest mode of Transport from the Airport.
Cheapest mode of transport is via public bus, nr. 16A will bring you within 1/2 min of the hotel. Ask the driver to let you off first stop on Georges Street. Bus returns to airport from opposite side of street. This service is quite frequent.
Dublin Weather
Dublin's maximum temperature in July and August ranges from 15-20°C (60-70°F), however the humidity can be high so summer light clothing is advisable. Irish weather being Irish weather you should always pack a light coat incase of the occasional rain showers. There are about 18 hours of daylight in July and August; it's only truly dark after about 10.30pm.
During January and February, the coldest months, daily temperatures range from 4-8°C (40-47°F). Major snowfalls are rare. Despite being one of the driest parts of Ireland, Dublin gets rain on 150 days in a typical year. Being so centrally located in Dublin however the climate during these winter months will have no impact on shopping or other holiday activities.
