Handy Location
” This hotel is an old hotel and the floors creak, however, it is a part of old Dublin and quirky. Ideal location near Grafton St, central for shops, restaurants, pubs, theatre etc., you can’t go wrong really. Didn’t hear any noise but then again we were partying ’til late ourselves. Good value…..”

Great Location, old world charm
” The Central Hotel was a great choice for our 3 days in Dublin. Location allowed us to walk everywhere. There is a grocery across the street so we could grab breakfast every morning before heading out. Very close to many pubs/restaurants….”

Ideal for a short break
” Stayed for two nights over late May Bank Holiday with nine friends for a senior citizens version of a stag weekend. The hotel is perfectly situated both for sightseeing and for the incredibly busy nightlife.Whilst not modern by any standards the hotel has a comfortable feeling and our room was spotlessly clean -the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom perfectly acceptable. All of the staff we encountered were very helpful and obliging…”

It is in the center of everything
“It is in the center of everything. The room was clean and comfortable. The Library Bar is one of my favorite places for a drink in Dublin.”

Lovely Hotel in a Good Location
“My husband and I stayed at the Central Hotel for 3 nights in September and would happily stay there again. The hotel is a nice looking old hotel in the centre of Dublin making it very easy for access to restaurants, shops, bars and for just strolling around which is exactly what we planned to do with our mini-getaway.”

Superb
“27/10/12 to 30/10/12 Excellent. An early check in for no added cost. Very friendly staff, initially given a room on the 4th floor, but this does not have wifi, they upgraded me to a better room on the 2nd floor with wifi (which is free!!!) and I was warned it was loud, which it wasn’t by my reckoning! Comfy beds,…”

Good old Hotel
“125 year old hotel in Central Dublin, close to lots of famous landmarks. We had 4th floor rooms which whilst small were adequate and at 69€ for B&B was ok. Wifi was very poor but everyone was very helpful. The library bar was lovely, comfy seats and we spent hours during the day recovering from a weekend on the west…”

Excellence in Simple Terms
“After being moved around due to a over booking in our original hotel. We ended up in the central hotel and it was excellent. The young lady who met us at reception and who was from Kildare helped us out to no end. The hotel itself has built its self around period features with modern fittings and fixtures”.

Well Named
“The Central is perfectly situated, between Grafton street and Dublin Castle, within easy walking distance to St.Stephens Green, Connolly Street, Temple Bar, etc. The hotel’s decor is somewhat old fashioned, but our room was large, clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you could reasonably expect from a three star hotel. Found the reception staff very helpful, arranging a very…”.
