Set in the Heart of Dublin, the Central Hotel is uniquely placed as a start-off point for the visitor to explore historical Dublin. The hotel offers our patrons the opportunity to explore the many places of interest nearby. Whether it be to view the Book of Kells in Trinity College, sampling ‘the pure Irish stuff’ in the Guinness Storehouse or just experiencing the ‘hustle & bustle’ on Grafton Street, all of this and much more is within walking distance of the Central Hotel.
Built in 1887 by Ross & Walpole and designed by Richard Millar and William Symens of Kildare Street, who also at the time designed the House of Parliament (now the Bank of Ireland). The hotel has 70 well-appointed rooms, our distinguished Library Bar and the Exchequer Gastropub.
We look forward to extending you a ‘Cead Mile Failte’ (Hundred Thousand Welcomes) and have you experience the unique standard of service and warm homely setting that the Central Hotel is renowned for.
